Publication Ethics
Resonansi: Rekayasa Sosial, Manajemen dan Inovasi is a peer-reviewed journal published by PT Metrum Karya Mandiri. This journal is available in both print and online editions, and it highly respects publication ethics while strictly avoiding all forms of plagiarism. This statement explains the ethical behavior of all parties involved in publishing an article in this journal, including the author(s), editor-in-chief, editorial board, peer reviewers, and the publisher. This statement is based on COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.
Ethical Guideline for Journal Publication
The publication of an article in Resonansi serves as an essential contribution to the dissemination of applied knowledge, community empowerment, and multidisciplinary innovation. It reflects the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles also ensure the integrity of scientific and applied community service methods. Therefore, it is important to establish clear standards of ethical behavior for all parties involved in the publishing process: authors, journal editors, peer reviewers, and the publisher.
As the publisher, PT Metrum Karya Mandiri takes its responsibilities over all stages of publishing seriously, ensuring that advertising, reprints, or other commercial revenue do not influence editorial decisions. In addition, the publisher and the editorial board are committed to assisting in communications with other journals and/or publishers whenever it is necessary to uphold ethical standards.
Allegations of Research Misconduct
Research misconduct includes fabrication, falsification, citation manipulation, or plagiarism in conducting or reporting research and community service projects. When authors are found to have engaged in research misconduct or other serious irregularities, the editors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the published record.
In cases of suspected misconduct, the editors and editorial board will follow COPE guidelines in handling the allegation fairly. Manuscripts containing misconduct will be rejected, while published papers found to include misconduct may be retracted and linked to the original article. Authors have the right to respond to allegations, and institutions are expected to conduct thorough investigations.
Publication Decisions
The editor of Resonansi is responsible for deciding which manuscripts are suitable for publication. Decisions are based on the manuscript’s validity, relevance, clarity, and contribution to community service and innovation. Fair Play
Manuscripts are evaluated solely on their intellectual content, without consideration of the author’s race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy.
Confidentiality
The editor and editorial staff must not disclose any information about submitted manuscripts to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, editorial advisers, and the publisher, as appropriate.
